Fiscally Conservative Nevada
Nevada has traditionally been extremely fiscally conservative throughout its history. Nevadans distain for high taxes is so strong that the Nevada legislature approved a measure that makes a state personal income tax unconstitutional. Nevada is one of only a few states with no corporate income tax. Add to that fact Nevada has no franchise tax, no taxes on corporate shares or corporate assets, and no succession tax. Instead, Nevada's revenues come largely from gaming taxes, casino entertainment taxes, sales & use tax and insurance premium taxes.
